Thinking about investing in some green onions?
How often do you use them. What do YOU use them for?

- I use them often. Chopped and added to: Omelets Fried rice Tacos Soups Salads Meatloaf Hamburger patties As a garnish on nearly any mexican or chinese main dish Bert
- I use them almost everyday - we like onions in many recipes.
- Green onions are good to each just as they are. Just wash them off, cut the ends off with the roots and put tip down in a glass of water while you eat. The green part is cut up to make chives too. Good for lots of stuff.
- I use green onions, or scallions, quite a bit - in green salads, potato salads, marinades, salad dressings, soups, sandwiches, spring rolls, lumpia, tacos, burritos, etc. Just about anything that calls for onion flavor. They are usually not as strong as the basic yellow onion. So, grab a bunch and use it in a few recipes - if you like it, like I do, you'll have another weapon in your cooking arsenal. If you don't like it - don't use them.
