how do i learn about how to invest money in things like a roth account or something like that?

1. Just go to your bank. Thay should be able to explain to type of accounts that are available to you.
2. Be very careful WHO you ask. If you ask a certified financial planner, their fees should be either hourly or flat rate, NOT commission. You don't want the pay for their advice to be tied to your money.
