3 to 5 year investing best route for medium risk?
i have a small start up capital of 500, and plan to add around 150 give or take a month, plus a yearly 500 for the next 3 yrs... bought cramers books and was thinking of going stocks alla sharebuilder.com or through drip investing in a few select companys, i have a stock buying plan through my work that makes u hold for 2 years before u can sell without penalty.. i get 15% off the lowest quarterly amount open or end and the stock has been beat up and givin it's a strong company that has already started to rebound i find myself wanting to dump hundreds into it in the short term. company is darden dri ticker. anyway off subject 3 to 5 years moderate risk

- dude, with the markets so crazy, the next bull market has begun in pm ( precious metals, ie gold, silver, etc.). gold has soared and silver is begining to climb rapidly.
- If this economy continues to be bad for the next few years (as many people say it will), people will be eating in their small apartments (not going to restaurants), saving their money to try to get their houses/jobs back. But they will still need Oil (for heat/transportation) and they will still wash themselves and their clothing (soap). For moderate risk, I would choose a global oil or consumer products company like ExxonMobil, Proctor & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, etc.
- I have had a DRIP Plan for several years. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It is really fun to choose from the best Blue Chip companies available all over the world. I would recommend leaving it in longer if you decide to go with a DRIP Plan. The longer you keep it invested, the better the returns. Good Luck
