How do I sell my stocks now?
I was investing in a DRiP through computershare. I wanted to close my account and deposit the stock certificates into my Roth IRA. Apparently I cant deposit the certificates into my Roth so now I have this stock certificate and don't know how to go about selling it. Does anybody know how I could go about cashing it in now?

- Open a broker acct @ schwab or wherever. take them the certs. Sell them
- Take the cert to a discount broker like Schwab or TD Ameritrade and they'll be able to help you out.
- I drip a couple different stocks through computershare. However i don't have actual certificates, they hold them. I sell them when i want through my computershare account on-line, then they send a check in the mail. If you have the physical stock cert. then you will have to go to a broker, and that will cost you. You should have left them with computer share, the sale fee is usually much, much less than a broker.
