let it drip down the tree?
so we all invest in these scent crazed products. we all buy bottles after bottles. everytime i hunt deer, i always take an empty gallon of milk container with me to pee in. so i want to know if we are all worried about smell, will it matter if i just let it go right from my stand? or should i keep using my empty containers, because its startin to get heavy on my back along with the backpack, treeclimber, and other things i have to carry back and forth. any personal experiencess other hunters have on this peeing off the tree while still successful? so we all have this craze over scent products. we try to smell like nothing. when i go hunting i always take a empty milk carton with me to pee in. i wanna know wat other hunters may think of this. does it matter if i just let it go from my stand or should i jsut keep doing wat i am doing. any personal experiences other hunters may have of this while still being successful? i just don't like to carry a container all the time, plus it gets heavy when you have a climber, backpack, and other things going back and forth into the woods. i eventually empty it out at the camp, but am i just wasting my time?

- By peeing anywhere near your hide you are loudly advertising the fact that you are around. Animals can smell this easily and will avoid the area. Better hold onto the pee and put it around your camp to keep the predators away.
- If you want to scare the deer away, just let it fly and the scent from it will do the trick
- #1 a clean woods is a happy woods. #2 have your mommy pour your #1 in to the potty and wash out the jug this way the jug will not have pee-pee in it and it will not be as heavy the next day.
- A few years ago one of the outdoor shows on TV did an experiment to see if deer were scared off by odors. They used Mennen after shave as one of the odors, human urine as another and ammonia as the third. Each was poured on bushes in an area known to have deer in it and the experimenters hid away from the test smells and photographed the results. The bucks were a bit more cautious about the smells but the does were very curious and would come up and sniff each one. They were not so curious about the Mennen aftershave but showed no fear of it. The ammonia drew a bit more attention and curiosity but the urine was very interesting to them. After the does began to examine the various smells, the bucks came out and began to look them over. They went so far as to actually taste the urine on the bushes. The supposition was that they were tasting for pheromones that would have been present in doe urine. Even though it was obvious to them that what they had found wasn't doe urine, they weren't afraid of it. So, I guess, based upon this single experiment, you need not fear peeing near your stand. If the experiment results are generally accurate, you might even improve your chances of getting a deer.
- I have peed from my tree and more times than not deer have came right to it and were not scared. I pee in fresh scrapes and usually, they will be tore back up the next day. Studies have shown that human pee pretty much just brings out curiousity in deer
- Have you ever farted while the dog was in your lap. The dog get up and leaves. Right. Well leaving your Bladder Juice for the wild animals has the same effect. And, you must be an idiot if you Like carrying that crap around in the woods.
