How good is the new Hyundai Coupe(Tiburon) 2008? Is it a car worth investing for 2 years? Other options?

  1. You don't invest in a car. You spend.
  2. don't. hyundai is the sux0rs unless u get their new genesis. you could wait for their genesis coupe, supposed to be crazy stuff.
  3. no its not Honda SI
  4. I've heard it's all looks and no guts.
  5. No Hyundai. Search in Google "hyundai, worthless" to find out. Better options: Toyota or Honda much more leliable in the long term, much better investment .
  6. Resale value is not high. But you won't have any reliability problems with it. It is a great car. Fun to drive, sport tuned suspension for great handling, and looks great. The only problems the 2003-2008 Tiburons are known to have are with the clutch in manual transmission versions. The clutch wears out much quicker than in other cars.
  7. The big advantage the Tib has right now is the fact that Hyundai has been building them for over 5 years now meaning all the bugs have been worked out. In fact, the Tib hasn't had a major recall since 2003 and has had good reliability since then. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Reliability.aspx?year=2008&make=Hyundai&model=Tiburon&trimid=-1 The bad news is that this may be the last year of production for it. You won't be getting the best Hyundai has to offer. The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe may be it's replacement next year. http://www.netcarshow.com/hyundai/2010-genesis_coupe/ Definity nice but also more expensive but you will be getting a nicer car.
