  1. your education is is an investment. blow it on bad investments, and it becomes a liability.
  2. student loan is meant for your educational purposes only, not a way to dig yourself a bigger hole by losing the money.
  3. Your school is going to get the check. You're just going to get the left-over amount after your expenses are paid. Put it towards college expenses.
  4. Do not invest thinking your going to earn a lot of money. The economy just isn't doing that well. Put in is a safe savings or some short term CD's
  5. By availing an student/education loan, you can get financial assistance during the pursuit of your studies in the following areas : * Any kind of fees payable to the educational institution like tuition fees, examination fees, lab fees, etc. * Hostel security, caution money or any kind of institutional fund * Purchase of laptops or any other electronic equipment essential to the course. * Purchase of books and uniforms * Travel expenses (in case of studies overseas) * Miscellaneous expenses like project work, amount for completion of theses, etc. For more on Educational Loan and other benefits visit http://www.paisawaisa.com/loans/education-loans.aspx
  6. If that is the way you are thinking, you are wasting your time going to college. I would have thought the answer was so obvious it would be unnecessary to ask the question!
