I wanted to know how do you invest in stocks and make money from them?
I'm eighteen and have never bought a stock in my life I don't know anything about them I just want to start investing my money so I can make money

- Well, I wouldn't follow this stock guide: http://www.bofads.com/stories/stocks.htm It's funny, but I doubt it will make you rich!
- Think about what you will do with the money if you start making it. Figure out what other alternatives there are and study.
- Get in touch with a Financial Advisor- similar but different than a stock broker. They will help you set up a retirement 1st- more important than making big money quickly and at your age if you invest early you could have several million by 40/45. They can also guide you to high to low risk stocks, bonds, etc. Basically you tell them what you want to buy, they buy it with your money and keep a small percentage for themselves. Some will contact you for certain stocks if you are wanting to be a player. I know some very good ones in the DFW area.
- haha, well you cant just start investing your money without knowing anything about stocks. So if you don't have the time, and effort, to put in then just use a fund manager. On the other hand if you really want to manage your own portfolio the first step is learning all you can about stocks. Go to a local library and take out some books on the stock market/investing or search online. It will take a lot of time and effort but it can be a very rewarding experience (and i don't mean rewarding in just monetary terms)
