Can someone explain how to invest in stock options?

Someone told me that you can make more money investing in options....but I have no idea what they are. Can someone help me understand stock options and how to make money with them?

  1. This question is complicated and needs more than just a short explanation. I have used http://professional stocktraderlive.com/ For all my stock market questions. I have learned to become a better day trader and investor from joining their site and watching daily live webcasts. I have been a member for months and I love it. This is truly an awesome site and is worth taking a look at. Have a great day. Fellow Investor
  2. <<<Can someone help me understand stock options and how to make money with them?>>> I suggest you go through the free educational material at http://www.cboe.com/LearnCenter/default.aspx and http://www.optionseducation.org/ to get a good idea what options are and some ways you can use them. However, to understand how to make money with them I suggest you read at least one good book about options. Two of my favorite are McMillan, Lawrence G.: Options as a Strategic Investment, Fourth Edition, New York, New York Institute of Finance, 1992. The grand-daddy of options books. The complete treatment from intermediate level to advanced. Natenberg, Sheldon: Option Volatility and Pricing, Revised Edition, Burr Ridge, Illinois, Irwin Professional Publishing, 1994. Extensive treatment of volatility and advanced strategies as they pertain to commodity options. but you need to pick (a) book(s) that is appropriate for your comfort level.
  3. Specialists in making the most of your savings. How much does your bank pay you on your money? 4 or 5% a year? Wouldn't you rather make that much per month or even per week? 2 - 15% per month or more is possible?Yes, it is. Using our Forex managed funds this is easily possible. FX Funds Group is your only choice. search for domain myfxfunds in google search engine for more information.
