- The only ones I know of which will really get some short term upward swing from the panic are the Mexican Airport Monopolies selling on NYSE. PAC, ASR and OMAB. I think PAC got hit a little worse than the others. I think PAC will be an easy 15%
- your late first of all second you may be able to get a little more out of Glaxosmithklyne (i think thats how u spell it) which makes some medicine (Relenza) for it or the company that makes tamiflu which is Roche, unfortunately they are swiss based but i think they trade under the title Roche Holdings AG. Novavax shares soared today as well. The company that actually invented tamiflu is called Gilead and they receive royalties from Roche. Unfortunately for all this I think you are too late. You might be able to squeak out a couple dollars but if you look at charts especially on the ones with monumental gains today they leveled off fast. This is not to say they will fall but be careful others had the same idea as you and just wanted to make a quick buck (overvalued stock). Best of luck and im kicking myself for not getting in early this morning too it should have been free money http://www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/stories/2009/04/27/daily13.html?jst=b_ln_hl http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20090427-710797.html http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601085&sid=ayjJIr6dL9CA&refer=europe
- if the swine flu turns out to be not nearly as bad or there is no confirmed link between pork consumption and the out break, you might want to consider buying livestock and food processing stocks that have gotten beaten down. a couple of examples would be: SFD - SmithField Foods, a meats processor (has a pork processing plant in Mexico) - down 12% today COW - a livestock ETN ( lean pork and cattle futures) HOGS - a chinese packager of pork products, down 6% today
- Minimum to invest is 5K USD, you can test the water before putting all. You can consider FX Funds Group if you would like to make 2% - 15% per month. A low risk investment to the long term goals. search for myfxfunds in google search engine for more information.
- If you are serious to invest and do no want to lose your money, you can google for HSFX Asset Management and start making consistent profits!
- According to the Associated Press at least one financial analyst estimates up to $388 million worth of Tamiflu sales in the near future. That's without a pandemic outbreak. More than half a dozen pharmaceutical companies, including Gilead Sciences Inc., Roche, GlaxoSmithKline and other companies with a stake in flu treatments and detection, have seen a rise in their shares in a matter of days, and will likely see revenue boosts if the swine flu outbreak continues to spread.
