  3. Buy gold.
  4. 1) No. 2) 48% (Each year)
  5. Not much you can do with limited capital, best to just open a deposit account. Interest rates are poor at present, though. You could study investment options for the future, when you might have more money at your disposal, then you will be better prepared when the time comes. Plenty of info out there on the internet.
  6. No you do not need a degree. I recommend mutual funds. You may also qualify for the saves tax credit. I have some good links below.
  7. No but you need knowledge. What ever way you get it. One source is the internet. Read articles on stock markets on sites such as http://www.marketsgenie.com/
  8. No, you do not need to be rich or even have a business degree! There are plenty of investment opportunities. For lower incomes, I really recommend "TIPS" - these are Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities and are issued by the federal government. The nice thing about TIPS is that you can start investing at very low dollar amounts & that your investment is completely safe. You cannot lose money with these (if you purchase them directly thru the govt). They are a great long-term investment. Here are a couple of links with more detail: How to Invest in TIPS: http://www.ehow.com/how_5083743_invest-tips.html How to Buy TIPS: http://www.ehow.com/how_5083760_buy-tips.html Happy investing and good luck! I admire your desire to start investing at a young age.
