Lux Investing

I want to invest in a no load, aggressive growth mutual fund. Where do I start?

I want the fund directly from the company, rather than through a 2nd party in order to avoid sales charge. I have an idea of a few sources, Ameritrade, Fidelity, Etrade, and Lincoln. Any other places where I should look?

  1. Vanguard
  2. go to Morningstar...you can rank and slice and dice and fillet the funds in any order you want. It shows how they've done vs their peers, it shows expenses, charges, what's in the fund, who runs it, etc etc etc...
  3. Bridgeway Aggressive Investors 2 Fund
  4. Well it really depends on what funds you already own. You have to look at your asset allocation- you want to have funds with different objectives so that you can have a diversified portfolio. (i.e. a small-cap fund, a mid-cap fund, a large cap fund and a global or international fund) If you are investing for your retirement then consider opening up a ROTH IRA with Gabelli for 250.00. You can research the funds offered by Gabelli on their website and on Morningstar. Best of Luck.
  5. Another avenue. Try this mutual fund.
