I Want To Invest Money In Mutual Fund,But I Dont Know Much About it,I HAVE ACCOUNT IN SBI(SAVING ACCOUNT)?

I WANT TO INVEST MONEY IN MUTUAL FUND,BUT I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT,I HAVE ACCOUNT IN SBI(SAVING ACCOUNT),I WANT TO INVEST MONEY AT LEST 10,000 RS,SO HOW MUCH I WILL BE PROFITED IF I INVEST FOR 6 MONTHS IN SBI MUTUAL FUND...PLZ HELP ME

1. You don't want to invest in a mutual fund if you only have a 6 month time horizon. Walk into your bank and ask to sit with someone with experience advising someone with investments. They should ask you questions about your overall assets, goals, and finances in order to help you make the best decision. Don't make any decisions on the spot but get a possible 2nd opinion and take time to think it over and do your own legwork after meeting with the banker/financial advisor so you don't jump into anything too quickly.
