What books would you recommend for investing on the stock markets?

I'm about to start investing on the stock market and I'm looking for some books that could deepen my knowledge in this field. I'm not a complete beginner as I have a masters degree in finance. However, I feel that I would need additional resources in order to develep my own strategy of individual stock picking. On Amazon.com I see tons of books of this subject, but it is very hard to decide, which one is worth to buy/read. I've read "Edwin Lefèvre -- Reminiscences of a Stock Operator". Very good book indeed.

  1. 1) the intelligent investor 2) security analysis 3) a financial accounting text book
  2. Check the authors listed on the front page: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/TradingZoom/ I would go by readers' reviews on Amazon - not the official blurbs.
  3. 1. Investing for Dummies 2. Mutual Funds for Dummies 3. " Kiplingers' But Which Mutual Funds....How to Pick the Right Ones" by Stephen T. Goldberg 4.
