28 years old and want to learn better ways to invest my money?

I'm 28 years old and have my savings tied up in a high interest online account and a little in a Fidelity IRA, What are some other ways I can get my money working for me?

  3. what a can of worms u want to open here. suggest a visit to library for solid answers. never invest in anything 'if it is the latest greatest guaranteed high return' thing. greatest way to lose money. never invest in anything if u can not explain it to an 8th grader. suggested invest in ur work education for best return on ur money. pay ur bills off for fastest ROI visit dave ramsey.com to learn hard lessons from others bigger mistakes. start a part time business ( a field u like) so u can get extra income and tax breaks.
