I want to ask that is it true that people can make money by doing online data punching or computer job work ?

Hi many times I see adds about working from home and earn money. I do not want to do marketing or domin thing. Is it possible to earn money by doing online data punching or some computer job work from home. Are these concepts really work ? i do not want invest in this unless i get paid. If any one knows about this plz share his or her views with me and tell some free working sites because right now i do not trust this concept an do not want to take a risk of investing money?

I can understand why there is confusion with "work at home" adds. Many of them are misleading because they don't discern "owning a business versus a job." To pay money for a job, then you are getting ripped off... To pay money to own your own business, you build it to establish an income from a product or service that is in demand by the end consumer. Some of these opportunities are MLM's. My neighbor was with an MLM phone company and made a lucrative living at it. Another friend of mine is with a vitamin MLM earning 3K a month. I am not with these companies, but do your research by reading entrepreneur magazine and or library books on the subject of working on line and earning money. I believe there are jobs on line, but not in the way advertisers mis lead people. Two examples are employee and free lancer. As an employee, you have to be in good standing working for someone in person in their office before they let you work by proxy from home. As a free lancer, you would have to be service oriented with something related on line, like a web designer. Thus, you can publish your resume for a fee on web sites that are work at home services for people looking for your expertise.
Whenever I get emails offering me thousands of dollars per week in this line of work I delete the email straight away. Of course there are genuine firms but do your research first.
