- There probably isnt enough definition to your question to answer this... not trying to sound smart here, but to me your question can be taken several ways. 1.) Are you asking about the difference between Growth and Value investing (this is a common question, and is a key difference/question to be answered when first learning or investing in equity stocks). 2.) Are you asking about investing for Growth (investing for your future retirement) or Income (as in I am retiring, and need to invest in equity stock, bonds, money market accounts that generate a cash outlay/return/payment to me by quarter or annually while I am retired). I would recommend the Motley Fool website. Yahoo Finance, or there are several books available on investing....
